In simple terms, all Windows computers today have more than enough power to run Framiac. The more important consideration in buying a business computer is reliability. The big name brands are not necessarily the most reliable. When they do require service, they often have to be sent away. Buy a computer from a local supplier with a reputation for after sales support.

If you really want to know the specs ... to use Framiac, you need:

• Processor: 1 GHz or higher.
• Memory (RAM): 1 GB or higher.
• Operating System: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 operating system.
• Hard Disk: 30 MB of available hard disk space. Additional space will be required as more jobs are entered.
• Display: 1024*768 or higher.
• Mouse or compatible pointing device.
• Internet access and an email account.

CD-RW drive recommended for backup

An Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is strongly recommended for computer reliability.

Wireless networks are not supported due to potential data loss.
