1: This version allows you to specify different numbers of windows in each layer of mat. This means you can now specify a single window in the top mat and multiple windows in the second mat. It also handles mat fillets with multiple windows more accurately.

At the same time, I have tried to make entering mat details more efficient. This version assumes a single rectangular window unless you specify otherwise.

2: A Standard License includes 4 CALs (Client Access Licenses). 4 CALs allows 4 clients to be served simultaneously.

CALs can be allocated to a single computer, or distributed among up to 4 computers. Typically, a shop with 2 staff will have 2 CALs on the front counter computer, 1 CAL in the workshop and 1 CAL at home.

3: Version 6 is bigger and easier to read. Framiac now displays at 1024 * 768 screen resolution. Your computer must be capable of at least 1024*768 screen resolution. Unless your computer is very, very old, it will be fine.

4. There is new security for Stock Control, Financials and Client Administration. This allows manufacturing framers who frame on behalf of retail framers to protect their manufacturing settings while allowing their retail framer clients to setup;their own markups, client discount categories, mailing lists and financial reports.

5. Improved Job Import Wizard. This will also benefit the framing factory that frames for other shops. When you do your run to collect artworks, you can specify thew range of jobs to import. For example, you can specify from the last job number you imported, or from the lat date you did a pickup. There are also other option to make importing jobs easier and more flexible.
